French Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Trauma Surgery (SO.F.C.O.T.) was founded in 1918 for the promotion and development of knowledge in that field. The aim of this surgical speciality is to relieve and improve the functional condition of patients following an accident or disease of the musculo-skeletal system at any time in their life. The SO.F.C.O.T. is an association of over 3000 specialised surgeons making it a strong representative and privileged spokesman for our profession.
