Cartigen

CARTIGEN is a research and innovation platform of the University Hospital of Montpellier and the University. CARTIGEN specializes in motion modeling and 3D printing to better understand osteoarticular diseases and to develop tissue engineering approaches in regenerative medicine.

Coordinated by Professor Christian Jorgensen, the platform is part of the University Hospital Federation REGENHAB and has access to high level technologies adapted to innovative therapies and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. These technologies are not made available not only to academic laboratories and heath establishments and clinical centers but also to industrial partners.

The platform is divided into 3 technical platforms:

  • a “Mobility” platform
  • a “Tissue engineering” platform
  • a “Bionic” platform

Access to the CARTIGEN platform is currently reserved for academic laboratories within a collaboration framework, before being opened in the near future to industrialists, academics and clinicians through the provision of services.

If you wish to have access to the platform’s equipment, the steps are as follows:

  1. Fill in the registration form which can be downloaded below
  2. Validation of the application by the Scientific Committee
  3. You will be offered training on the use of the equipment
  4. Access to the equipment via the GRR reservation site
