"Mobility" platform

Scientific directors: Isabelle Laffont, Marc Julia
Engineers: Gilles Dusfour, Gauthier Desmyttere
This platform specializes in movement rehabilitation and musculoskeletal tissue imaging.

Dive In Gait: immersive motion analysis system

Made up of an optoelectronic camera system (Qualisys), an instrumented double-belt treadmill (TreadMetrix), and a wireless surface electromyography system (Delsys), this equipment enables 3D analysis and modeling of the movements of healthy or pathological subjects.

  • Qualysis : 8 MIQUS M3 cameras
  • TreadMetrix
  • Delsys Trigno Avanti

Xsens MVN Awinda Visit the Xsens website  The Xsens system is a wireless motion capture system based on central inertial sensors, which use accelerometers, gyroscopes and magnetometers to determine the relative position of body segments in relation to each other. As the system is compact, portable and easy to set up, its use is not limited to the laboratory; it can be used in ecological environments, including outdoors.

Con-Trex: isokinetic machine

Con-Trex: isokinetic machine The isokinetic machine provides an objective and precise assessment of a subject's muscular strength, in order to highlight articular, muscular or neurological deficits or imbalances, which the machine's rehabilitative capabilities can correct or improve in the most appropriate way.

MRI Gscan (Dynamic imaging)

This dynamic MRI allows us to visualize the musculoskeletal system in motion and under load (e.g. standing for the knee). It has the added advantage of being low-field, to limit exposure of the subjects being observed to strong magnetic fields.

Respond to calls for projects and participate in research protocols (clinical and fundamental), as well as in the evaluation of medical/paramedical devices, sports equipment or connected objects for industrial partners.
